Aeroplane Antics!!

Some of the Year 8s were designing, making and flying paper planes this afternoon. There was a prize of a large foam plane for the best design, longest airtime, fastest speed and longest distance.

The runner up for design was Andrew for Team Mallard. The winners were Rachel and Ella. The best speed was by Alex. The furthest distance was for Victoria. And last but not least, longest airtime was for Yasemin.

Furious Flight

When I first stepped foot in S04 it was surprisingly quiet but of course it was for a reason. The Y8's were hard at work making their superb paper planes.

They firstly copied a sheet to make the planes then decorated and wrote the company which for most people was a new brand which of course was their second name.

They finally finished with a competition were they flew their dazzling planes. The aim was to get the furthest distance across the science corridor. They were trying to beat each other and the previous winner in the other form, Jack, with 11 metres.
