The Tapton girls struggled to contain a strong start from St Peters but grew into the game and were in touching distance of the hosts at the half time break.

Tapton continued to be competitive in the third quarter before a stellar shooting display from St Peters put the game beyond reach at 69-44.

The girls now move their attention to the Sheffield Schools where a win in their final two group games will all but secure a finals place.
