Results 2025
2025 was another excellent year for our students and the results reflected their fortitude and tenacity.
At GCSE:
66% of pupils achieved a strong pass (Grade 5+) in both English and Maths.
84% of pupils achieved a good pass (Grade 4+) in both English and Maths.
The Attainment 8 score for Tapton School in 202 was 57.57. This is a score based on how well students have performed in their best 8 subjects.
49% of students were entered for the EBacc qualification; 83% of those who entered achieved Grade 4+ and 73% achieved a Grade 5+.
The average point score for EBacc was 5.27.
Sixth Form:
Students achieved 66% A*-B and an average grade B across all results. We are delighted to share that students have progressed to a wide range of post-18 destinations, facilitated by our broad curriculum offer at Key Stage Five.
