Wednesday 9th July 2025 — Tapton School’s annual Sports Day took place yesterday in spectacular fashion at the prestigious English Institute of Sport (EIS) in Sheffield. With energy and excitement from start to finish, students, staff, and supporters made the most of the world-class facilities right on the school’s doorstep.

The day began in the Sports Hall, where Year 7 students launched the event with enthusiasm and team spirit. The atmosphere was electric as pupils competed in Wacky Races, Dodgeball, sprints, and team challenges, cheered on by their classmates.

As the day unfolded, Tapton students filled the EIS’s iconic main arena, where the atmosphere buzzed with friendly rivalry and community pride. Form groups rallied behind their classmates with chants, banners, and plenty of encouragement.

Tapton Sports Day was a true highlight of the summer term—full of fun, competition, and unity.
