A lifetime of dedicated service to our country, Tapton School Academy Trust is deeply saddened by the news of the passing of Queen Elizabeth II. Her impact was and still is felt by people in many ways. Her kindness, duty, dignity, leadership and how she approached her role, are inspirational. Our thoughts are with her family at this time.

If your child is unwell or unable to attend school, it is important that you notify us of this as early as possible each morning please.
If you call the absence line you will be prompted regarding what details we need from you, but if you text or email please can we ask that you tell us:
Text messages will be sent to the parents/carers of students who are not in school, and we haven’t heard from, at 10.00am. Please do respond to this message so that we are clear about all absences and reasons for the absence.

Just to remind you that if your child is unwell whilst they are in school, they should attend our first aid room or student reception. We will then liaise with you and if necessary, make arrangements for students to be leave school. Students should not call home and leave school without our knowledge
