KS3 students will have 25 lessons per week
KS4 students will have 25 lessons per week (some Mandarin lessons take place after school for students opting in).

Key Stage 3 (Y7-Y9) age 11-14
Year groups are split into three bands in KS3 (x, y and z). Students are taught as a form group in Year 7 for Geography, History, Drama, IT, RE and PSHEE.
MFL: Students commence studying a language in Year 7 and continue with that language through to KS4.
Maths: Are set by ability in all three year groups
DT: Year 7 and Year 8 are taught food and DT on a rotation (rotate half way through the year) to enable them to experience each of the subject areas.

Key Stage 4: Y10 &Y11 (age 14-16)
Key Stage 4 groups work primarily towards GCSE qualifications. Year groups are split into two ability based pathways. KS4 curriculum is a mixture of 5 core subjects and 3 Option subjects chosen from the lists in the table below. All KS4 students should take at least one humanity (history/geography), and students on Y11 Green / Y10 Dark Green pathway follow a full EBACC programme of study, which means they continue studying MFL to GCSE.
