Results 2024
2024 was another excellent year for our students and the results reflected their tenacious spirit and commitment to hard work.
At GCSE:
70.6% of pupils achieved a strong pass (Grade 5+) in both English and Maths.
84% of pupils achieved a good pass (Grade 4+) in both English and Maths.
The Attainment 8 score for Tapton School in 202 was 58.4. This is a score based on how well students have performed in their best 8 subjects.
The Progress 8 score was +0.55.
59.79% of students were entered for the EBacc qualification; 80.7% of those who entered achieved Grade 4+ and 67.8% achieved a Grade 5+.
The average point score for EBacc was 5.39.
98.6% of 2024 leavers are now in education or employment.
Sixth Form:
Students achieved 64% A*-B and an average grade B across all results. They progressed to a variety of post-18 destinations, facilitated by our broad curriculum offer at KS5.
