Student Support

Your mental health and wellbeing is important to us, and fundamental to the Tapton philosophy and ethos of valuing everyone, caring for each other and achieving excellence.
  • Mental Health and Wellbeing assemblies take place throughout your first term, offering advice on diet, exercise, sleep and stress
  • Guest speakers are also invited into Sixth Form during your first term. This year’s guest speaker is Dr Dominique Thompson, the UK’s leading GP on mental health
  • Sixth Form student voice informs us of potential pressure points throughout Year 12 and 13, enabling us to offer encouragement, guidance and support, and allowing you to manage your time through busy periods
  • Our Learning Platform offers advice on dealing with pressure, as well as a range of exercise and relaxation techniques
  • We have an experienced and dedicated sixth form team who are on hand to answer any query or concern you may have:
